CONQUEST Celebrate EP Release With Hometown Show
May 22, 2005St. Louis, Missouri-based metallers CONQUEST celebrated the release of their new EP, "First Blood", with a free hometown show on May 14 at The Pageant concert hall in front of 750 screaming fans. The last concert for the band in their hometown was this past Halloween, also at The Pageant, where CONQUEST played as support for SLAYER during the opening leg of their Jagermeister Music Tour.
CONQUEST's "First Blood" four-song EP features two tracks that begin a conceptual biblical story of truth and fiction that intertwines tales of the beginning of civilization and the arrival of a modern-day vampire. The fable progresses into CONQUEST's next full length CD, "End of Days", scheduled for release October 2005.
